Sports betting is legal in Louisiana. Online sports betting launched in January 2022.

In-Person Betting

Legal for 21+. Louisiana launched retail sports betting in October 2021 and mobile in January 2022 under Act 440. Sports betting was approved parish-by-parish in 2020 — 55 of 64 parishes voted yes. Mobile betting is available only in parishes that approved it. Major operators include FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and BetRivers.
